i was wondering if the 3" tuff country lift kit would fit a 2004 prerunner because the wesite states that the kit it for 4wd's but doesnt directly say it wont fit a prerunner. wanna get a better look and let my 31x10.50 tires breathe a bit in the wheel well. some advice would be much apreciated.
    thanks
    Nick

cool cool so i have read up on this kit and the pro comp 3" kit and people are saying its not a very good move because it can screw up other things. is this true for any vehicle or more so for hardcore offroaders who really put toyotas through what they are built to withstand?

Have you considered just doing the billie's up front and an AAl? i paidabout $40 for the front billies and new coils than i did for my whole spacer kit and the ride is awesome!

thats gonna put a big hole in my pocket will these billies work with a pro comp 3" lift kit and do i have to worry about the extra stress on ball joints if installed all of this? think i might just level it first with some one inch spacers and try to get a powertrax lockrite in my truck first to make lifting it worth while.

The billies will cost you something like 310 for all 4 corners and you can re-use your stock coils with the billies set at 2.5. then simply get an AAL, they arent that expensive.. I'm sure the spacer kit is somewhat cheaper but you mind as well go ahead and do it right the first time, cause down the road you will just want to change them out anyway!

dont think so. just added 4 of them to my cart on dsm and its gonna cost $1319!!! im in college hell sometime i can hardly afford gas. maybe ill just lift the front end a bit first just to level the truck out and save up over the summer and buy a proper suspension set up for my truck.

i revoke my previous statment cause i did a little hunting on the website and found the shocks your talking about. would it be a bad i idea if once i installed these shocks to put blocks in or should i go with some procomp aals? if i did the aals i wouldnt need to change my rear shocks would i?

i was getting ready to say 1319:eek: those must be some super badass billies lol. but to answer your question i would just do an AAL, and if you got the billies that are 310 the it comes with the rears to. and remember there is still a discount for tacomaworld members from DSM that will drop from 310 to around 285 or somethin i think (dont hold me to that price just a guestamate) but you just have to sign up for the site first then enter their promo code and bam theres the discount, i think just the 2 front billies were 199 or so and when i entered the code i paid 175 so its a nice lil discount! Good luck
