For those with the extreme led bar, is this how yours is aligned?? Still get a whistle at times

 

Anyone add a light bar to the Bravo using the original windscreen? Curious how it’s done or what needs to be cut out. Don’t want to go back and buy a second windscreen with the cut out.

 

Ok new install, cap rack seems long but I will others chime in, double checked the order and I did order short bed. Does anyone know if you can use the spacers from the cap rack to lift the cab rack?

 

I think it has more to do with the style cap you have. It has a more aggressive slope to the back window, and seems to sit a touch higher than your trucks roof. Looking at the length of the rack, it is just short of your tailgate where most caps would drop off. Great looking truck.

 

Good call as I had not thought of that. Been busy getting the 270 mounted, will need to drill a couple points on the 270 bracket to make all points touch but it is suspended on its own now.

 

Sorry @upTOPoverland. I'm a cheap basterd who thinks I can figure out a cheap way to do everything. It generally doesn't work out but this time I think it has. Cheap Amazon rock lights attached to mounts intended for boat steps, but they'll work and I like the way they look (they were like $6 each instead of $30+ each for the sweet scene pods from uptop). Plus if I decide to cough up the change to use the scene pods I didn't alter any part of the rack other than the intended knock out plates. The lights are bluetooth controlled and I can select the color (I really like that I can switch to red lights to maintain night vision). Now, bring on the "you get what you pay for" critique.

 

Arrow those light hardwired or battery? If you’re just looking for some ambient lighting when you camp they are probably perfect!

 

They are hardwired. I have a aux fuse tray I built that I wired them from so that they have constant power.

 

Selling a braco double cab Roof rack if anyone is interested for 600 bucks and ex Bravo camper shell rack pm if interested the camper shell rack is for a long bed.

 

Is there a way to buy specific parts of a rack? I have a truss rack and some parts were bent during an accident and need to be replaced. Is there a way to purchase parts?

Has anyone used the Pelican roof mount with an Uptop rack? They are not listed under their compatibility chart. Are the rails much different from a Prinsu?

 

I think it is more of an issue of spacing, not necessarily the rails themselves. Do you know the exact spacings of the mounting holes on the Pelican mounts, and would that mounting hole spacing allow it to still hook on to the Pelican case?

 

What pelican roof mount are you guys talking about? Do you have a link? I saw some beer they were pretty bulky and only for certain cases.

 

I have the same condition like yours on my truck. I think I posted my pictures months ago after I installed Bravo rack for the cab and camper shell. My camper shell is Snugtop. The cap rack sticks out and misaligned with the cab rack. I get used to it by now though :>

 

Someone pointed out that the back of my cap has an aggressive angle to it, makes sense once it was pointed out. I have got used to it now.
