Seemed strange putting the winter tires on this afternoon when it was 27 degrees. At least it’s winter ready. And it was satisfying being able to do that kind of stuff again after 3 years not being able.

 

A bit early? I was planning on late November when temperature drops below 5

 

I wasn’t sure if the wrist would be able to handle it and didn’t want to leave it that late to find out. I’m not driving far at the moment so I’m not concerned about burning off the tread.

My Elka's look in perfect condition still. I dont beat my rig like @Norilsk does his, so I expect them to last at least 2 years

 

That's how long they lasted, so you'll get similar milage. lol

 

For something so expensive, they should hold up. They're at the upper tier of suspension in terms of cost. If you can't get the best out of the best, why get the best?

Granted, Russia man is effectively a test subject for the limits of damn near everything.

 

You order replacement parts yet?

 

Krave in AB, still closed and they didn't check on Friday as promised ( who would before the long weekend when you got to gtfo from work, I don't blame them) Hopefully by noon I'll have answer from them.

 

All this puts a big ? about me buying elka suspension...

 

Yeah It very sucks that in the entire county service department for Elkas is only in AB while they are made in QC...

 

I would not worry, they are a wear item. There is nothing wrong with the suspension themselves. Mine feel so gooooood.



As Dax mentioned, its not just Elka that has this wear item.

 

I know it works. Yet, when spending over 5k on something, I think expecting it to last isn't quite pushing it...
