Some of our fleet maintenance is done by shops for “safety reasons”. I’ve checked the oil level after an oil change was done by a shop and found it overfilled by a quart. Not good.

If I didn’t personally do the work, I trust but verify. Takes only a minute. You shouldn’t have to, but it sure beats the current situation.

I really had to negotiate that one but they caved and also knocked $43 off the sticker price.

I've been looking/waiting/saving for this truck for a long time. If they offer me close to what I paid, they can have it

Checked my oil. It’s fine. Although the other day post 10k service I pulled my cabin filter and blew it out. They definitely didn’t change it. Dickheads. I guess cuz my glove box is full and has an aftermarket organizer in it. Gonna start checking my beer cans, shake em up, see if they are full.

Yep test drove it all over the place including 80 miles an hour on the interstate played with all the buttons in the cabin too. There were no surprises for me I knew exactly what I was buying and I still smile each time I drive it.

I was asking if you had checked the oil prior to test driving it. Always wearing skinny mom jeans.

My mother had her 2020 Limited 4Runner lose all it's oil after it's first dealer oil change. She had a new 2021 of identical spec within the same month. According to my parents all the head honchos from the dealer showed up within an hour that evening with the tow truck. A Venza was left as a loaner. Police woke my parents up banging on the door at 7am the next day about the oil trail to their house.

That same dealer declined my extended warranty requests in high school for a melted dashboard and 2AZFE oil burning issue on my 07 Camry lol.
