The thread title is "Snow/Ice versus Cruise Control". I'm not sure where people could have gotten the idea you wanted to use Cruise control in the snow/ice?

Dude everything about your title and first post are about cruise control not working in the snow. There's absofuckinglutely nothing about lights in your first post.

Multiple people responded and gave you all the information you requested, and much more. Then you come back with an attitude and capitalizing random words like a teenage girl on Twitter.

Maybe, just maybe, if "Noone actually reads" what you wrote its not a reading comprehension issue, you just suck at communicating.

I guess this part threw you for a loop then,
“Thanks to all. I guess the “Cruise Control in the Snow” started by the silly message that popped up when the Radar Detector Iced over. That message was all about my Smart Cruise Control not working.”

At this point one might anticipate this particular thread to be a closed issue. Yet, the continued rejoinders seem to reinforce my belief that some folks just cannot answer a question without editorial analysis. If/When I have my next question for the 3rd Gen Community I will ensure that I run it by my editorial staff.

MMmmm, lets recap. I get a yellow warning light on dash. I respond by seeing what’s what with my Cruise. I then get a written warning that my Cruise is F’d up and to clean my Sensor. I post a question of the 3rd Gen Community about that Cruise Text Message and folks give me a primer on winter driving and or an update on where to actually find the answer to my question in the Owner’s Manual.

For those that provided a simple, straightforward answer THANKS once again.

Look, if your going to ask a question mixed in with things you should not be doing, then expect people to tell you to not do the things your doing as a solution to your problem. If your trying to use cruise control and there is snow and ice, then you shouldnt be using cruise control because of snow and ice. Doesnt matter where the sensor is at that point.

If you ran over dogs for fun, then asked us where the best place to get blood off your car is, we would probably tell you to stop running over dogs instead of telling you how to clean the blood off.

Yeah, no need to jump down people's throats buddy. You asking "where is the radar" followed by "snow and ice, cruise not working" followed by "where is it located to clean" without originally saying that you were just looking to just get rid of the light could be easily interpreted as you want to be able to get your cruise working again in inclement weather. People are going to (rightfully) try to educate you on why that's not a good idea. Also, just in case you weren't aware, capitalizing key words in your response comes off as yelling at everybody, usually that's when the help is going to stop.

Or one might have actually read the Interrogatory Statements within the body of my post. Interrogatory Statements are easy to recognize as they are punctuated with a Question Mark. One might recognize this punctuation mark “?”; that is known as a Question Mark.

My Interrogatory Statements read, “Just where is the actual RADAR on the front of the truck?” & “Where is this detector (pix help) to clean?”

I am at a loss on how one might draw any other ideas.

Back when I learned how to operate a nuclear submarine written tests were often predicated by RTQ/ATQ.

Buy a used 5 lug that has marginal amount of nanny wizardry. I drive it every time it snows here and wa-la, no silly lights. :D

I bet that the drivers in Largo Florida have problems driving in the snow. I just sold My 95 F250 because it was too hard to find parts for a 27 year old truck. But that booger went about anywhere.

    Maybe not.

All right, a straight answer to a simple question. Even included a picture that I requested. Thanks for the information.
