My shortest was about a month I believe. Sweatshop of a job working in a Scholastic Book Warehouse doing quality checks on packages. Swelteringly hot in a million square foot warehouse with no A/C in the middle of June. I got involved with a girl there who came around quite a bit till she apparently got bored and then I was like, 'thats the push I needed to quit.' Walked in told them I was quitting, they asked 'when's your last day?' I said 'Last Friday was. Have a good day.' and handed them my badge.

 

My price wasn't right on the bid for those welders. The two with no reported problems brought about $800 each and the cheapest one was around $300.

 

Shortest job was 1 day as a cashier at Wal-Mart (not the job that I applied for or was hired for) while I was in college. I had applied to work the sporting goods counter and after completing the new hire BS they said theres been a change and you'll actually be working up front. Finished my shift and told them don't call me, today was my first and last day.

 

Such is life My luck would be the same!

 

Not a problem I don`t eat that foreign food.

Although the route I take to work there's farms everywhere so there's dirt all over the road. Dammit...

 

We took my wife’s car, she has the car wash membership! There’s feed all under the passenger seat.

 

I'd be hitting that with the vacuum asap lol, sounds like a invitation for mice. They come out of the field around the home, harvest time, plus expecting rain...it seems to flush them out even more.
Reminds me I should go spray some repellent around. I figure it can't hurt.

 

Similar for me. I did the new hire training to be a cashier at a Kroger's one summer during college. I worked a single 4 hr shift and went straight to the manager's office and quit. I couldn't do with just standing in one spot, and I don't like interacting with unknown people so nope. I never even went back to get a paycheck, but they also never contacted me to tell me there was one there for me.
