    It's actually looking like it's the PCV valve; I got an OEM from the local Toyota dealer for a shockingly low $8.50 and my friend is helping me install it next week. For a measly eight dollars and fifty cents, I am willingly to change this part out just to see if does the trick!

    And if it doesn't, then I plan on replacing the valve cover gasket before 150K...

    Yeah I’m not really sure why he does that. I figured he just really likes to take pictures?

    The Sport and Off Road cost the same if equipped the same, but l think it boils down to the different style booster and master cylinder.

    You nailed it, but I saw yesterday's pictures as "documenting" the spark plug replacement...

    Nice. I take a lot of pictures to mostly if random stuff but also of my truck. I just don’t post very many of them.

    Pretty sure Cupcake's 96 Tacoma was on the original clutch at 170K when it was bought back. She got it around 90K I believe, before I met her.

    On the plus side too if the clutch ever happens to fail its usually not overly difficult or expensive to replace.

    Or Toyota buying it back saved us putting in a clutch, which it probably would have needed that year we figured.

    @Taco critter

    A neighbor passed away from cancer a couple days ago and there's a slight chance I might be driving the truck in the funeral procession this Saturday, so for obvious reasons I'd have to temporarily dezombify the truck just for that...

    This was totally unexpected to the whole neighborhood, and when I decorated the truck I had absolutely no idea she was even sick (Stage 2 breast cancer); In the interest of good taste, if I do drive the truck in the procession, I will be removing the three zombie heads and covering up the zombie livery with silver duct tape.

    Even if I just go to the viewing, I will be removing the zombie heads at a bare minimum because, like I said, showing up for a neighbor's funeral with the truck done up like it is would be in bad taste and would at a bare minimum draw some dirty looks from people at the funeral who don't know me; The whole neighborhood knows I zombified the Tacoma for Halloween, knows how hard I worked on it, and thus is not offended that I'm not totally dismantling my hard work. However, people who don't know me might not take so kindly to it.

    BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    I think you should leave it and dress up like a vampire

    I did not know this person as well as some of my other neighbors, but she was a total sweetheart who died way too young and I will not be dishonoring her memory by showing up in a Zombie Outbreak truck dressed like a vampire!

    The guy in the blue Tundy complimented my Zombie Response truck and took a picture with his phone while I was driving into work today...

    My alternator is fine, but it's original to the truck, 12 years old, and starting to show signs of being overtaxed due to the aftermarket stereo, fog lights, and LED lights I've got installed; I just noticed today that the odometer backlight dims when the A/C is turned on...

    I don't need anything fancy, just a more robust unit. Does Mechman or whatever that company is called make anything affordable?
