5-7500 depending when im free and weather. I usually only drive about 6k miles a year so it works out to once a year for me

Haha true that I’m an idiot, I like being part of the crowd here :D
Actually the Maintenance manual says 10,000 miles or 12 months for the oil change. And there’s a reason for the time element.

That's because it's not an 'oil change' light.

It's a 5k service interval light. Your manual list certain things to be done at 5k increments.

If you want to use it as a 10 OCI reminder, just reset it at the first 5k after a change, then change it when it appears the 2nd time.

I don’t waste my oil. I take the oil out of my Taco and put it into my Honda Insight that has 250,000 miles and still gets 57 MPG!

Soooo…my truck is about 3k in since it’s last oil change in July…of 2020. Should I change? Looks fine to me and I used synthetic. Is there a time limit to synthetic? I always thought no but I’ve never gone this long

Many experts say you should change your oil once per year regardless of how few miles you have on the oil. The reason is condensation builds up in your oil and it doesn’t get burned off like it does when people drive more miles.

I change my oil every 5,000 miles but would rather change it every 15,000 miles versus changing it it every 6,000 miles when I only drive 3,000 miles a year. The water build up in your oil will do harm.

10,000 or a little under. Pavement driving about 98% of time. No mud,do hit some speed bumps every now and then slow though.

Center console divider thingy, rubber bed mat and side steps for the wife.
None of the above, once a year whether it needs it or not.

Every 5k, but that equates to about annually for me, which is still overkill. I give my old oil to @JoeCOVA to put in his truck so it doesn't go to waste.

I change mine every 5k like the OM says and I don't apologize for doing it. It runs better than new, no oil leaks either so I'll just keep on trucking
