Went on a day trip to the pass and hit a few logging roads. Love the comfort of the KDSS.

I would say get the extended warranty but I'm sure the warranty lasts longer than 6 months.

After screwing with the Parking Break lever the last few days, i finally got the button freed up and engaging/disengaging with the pawl.

However the park break is in major need of adjustment. I looked a little on mud for a right up of the adjustment process but didnt find anything clear. Can anybody point in the direction of a good right up/youtube vid?

mine is also f’d in the a. I hope I never need to use it. I hear it’s almost better and cheaper just to get new cables.

Just found a decent youtube vid for a 4th gen 4runner. Might take off one of the rears and see if its the same. If so its an easy adjustment. I know the cable isnt broke and i feel pretty confident in saying the park brake lever has been f'd so long the adjustment has been out for a while due nit being used. Idk.

    Worth a shot.

Anyone have advice on brakes? Need to do rears, but probably going to do front and rear together. Will take apart next weekend and inspect, but planning on doing it all (rotors, calipers and pads). Looking at a 460 swap for the fronts (2016 and older). Anything special I need to know?

Thinking about swapping out the front pads. They squeal like a mother under light pressure.

Was just looking at it all. Centric rotors/calipers (460 for front) with Akebono pads comes out to just under $900.

You looking to sell the 460 calipers?

$150 shipped for both. I would only suggest coating them with some sort of paint. They are prone to rusting with the coating that comes on them.

Just found this thread. My wife recently got a CPO 2018 RX 350L and the luxuriousness won me over. We test drove a GX during her purchase process and now I can’t stop thinking about the GX. It’s such a classic design yet a capable vehicle that I can use as replacement for my Tacoma. Anyway, I’m debating whether to trade my Tacoma for a CPO 2017 GX 460 with 32k miles.
