2nd Gen Ultimate LED Dome and Map lights

Am I going crazy or are these 3rd Gen?

 

The missing tab would indicate that it's for a turd gen.

 

That’s what I’m thinking too and it’s the wrong color. I thought it was too good to be true when I ordered it and it shipped right out.

I’ll be getting ahold of them asap now that I know it’s wrong. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

 

Because the first one I bought that’s dead now is grey​

 

This is in fact for a 3rd gen. The way to tell is the tab locks(3rd gen has them on top and bottom, 2nd Gen is on the left and right ends) Also, 3rd GEN is BLACK plastic housing. While 2nd Gen is GREY plastic housing(to match 2nd gen interior). I just made 1 box for all domes to make packaging easier. I know you purchased it somewhere else, but I'll tell ya what...send me your address and I'll get you out the correct 2nd Gen dome light. Pass the karma on to a 3rd gen owner who hasn't heard the Word of MESO yet

 

Ummmmmmm......am I able to pay you $$$$$ for a dual color 2nd gen dome?????????

Hello Everyone.

Just got my Meso ultimate dome light dual color in the mail. I went to throw it in and the fuse is much smaller than the metal bracket in the truck. I have a 2010 tacoma and this dome light is for 2nd gens. Anyone have this issue? Thanks

 

It should squeeze in no problem. If it's loose, pinch the prongs to make them tighter and then insert

 

I pinched the metal prongs together enough to hold some decent contact/tension on the new festoon edges
and then moved it a little bit just to have it evenly centered on both sides
still going strong
was careful when doing this, did not want to accidentally break the board on the festoon

 

I bought these second hand off a member on here. Every morning I come out to this:

Apparently there's a tab that is missing to hold the dome light in place. Pics of original sale don't have it on there. Anyway, I digress.... there's a fair amount of the LEDs that don't light up. Is this normal? On both dome light and map lights.

Thoughts?

 

Not normal, but I bet meso will make it right.

 

Any word on a restock of the dual color lights? It'd be an awesome Xmas gift to myself

 

Don’t think so, there are a long list to replace.

 

Submit a ticket if it’s dead. Meso warrantied me on mine.
