I was standing on the deck with the dog when I noticed the moon peeking in and out through the shifting clouds.

I believe we have another full moon coming up soon, too. would be really great if it was on Halloween night, but i think it's before that.

Who here is running the Bilstein 6112's on a 2nd gen for 1.75"-2" lift? I'm looking into getting them for my truck. I have a Demello steel winch bumper with a 12.5k lb tuffstuff winch so I'll need to factor in the additional weight for which notch I set them at. Currently I'm running 5100's with 886's set at 0 for 3" lift, I want to remove these and go back to between 1.5"-2" lift max.

Hey John, is contractor closing the overhang in with tin? If so, rough in a wire at three or four places for recessed cans. Don't let him cover you up.

I’m painting our master bedroom. I bought a 5 gallon bucket of Lowe’s drywall primer… I might as well cote the wall with water, that stuff SUCKS.

Drywall primer is more of a sealant than a paint. It's meant to be applied to fresh never painted drywall.

We started bottling the honey that we extracted last week. It is an interesting blend of summer and fall honey. We opted not to extract this summer since all 3 colonies were pretty new. We should end up with somewhere around 110lbs from the 3 hives and left almost that much for the bees to feed on during the winter.

Yes. I used a Sherwin Williams primer first. Applying the Lowe’s adjacent to it, there’s no comparison. The SW primer actually covers up the marks on the wall

I ride MTB. I actually rode a little bit over the weekend, for the first time in a while. I have a '16 Specialized Stumpjumper.

    Awesome bike you have there.

Drove 15 minutes to get a $0.70 bolt to do 5 minutes worth of work. Couldn't find nylock nuts at the store then realized I'm a mechanic and 3/8 is one of our primary bolts.. I found a few on my desk.

Years ago I reached in my pocket for some change at the grocery store and pulled out a wire nut, spade terminal and a nylock nut. The clerk immediately said "you must be a maintenance guy". Shocked, I asked how she knew. She replied "maintenance guys always have stuff like that in their pockets".

Do you sell yours Mark? We have a "honey man," as I call him, about 2 miles down the road. He has local colonies so I hope it will help with my allergies. He charges $25 for 5 pounds and has several varieties.

We haven't started selling at this point - haven't gotten the PA licensing - and pretty much give it to family and friends. Our production isn't large enough to make selling worthwhile at this point...and I want to just do it as a hob by not as something that requires lots of time.
