Repeat Tacoma Owner: Tow Hitch

Good morning - I am about to be a second time Tacoma Owner. The 2022 Tacoma-TRD Off-Road should arrive mid November. In the specs, it mentions having a Class IV towing hitch receiver. Does that mean it also has the hitch? I am guessing not, but wanted to check prior to ordering one. I appreciate the feedback. I will be on looking for the best add-ons sometime soon. thank you again -

 

Talk to your salesperson if you wish to confirm. But yes the receiver is a hitch.

A receiver is the part mounted to the frame. The hitch ball or pintle slide into the receiver and are held in place with a large pin. This gives you the option of multiple hitches and quick changes without tools.
