Did you disconnect either of your driveshafts? I'd also check wheel bearings & tie rods.

 

I'll check the bearings - I don't know why that didn't occur to me. I guess I didn't check it mainly because I didn't hear that grinding noise that I'm familiar with in regards to bad bearings.

 

I wouldn't count out the drive shafts either. You could remove your front, drive around .. no more vibes and that might be the culprit. Same for the rear, put it in 4wd, remove rear driveshaft and drive around the block.

 

Front driveshaft doesn't spin in 2hi, only the CV's spin.

 

yeah I am just saying just rotating the driveshaft 90 degrees gave me bad vibes when i was in 4wd
