Birfday coming up in a few weeks and the wife asked me what I wanted.... I froze, I panicked, I pulled a 3 Stooges and ran into the wall.
    .
What would you ask for with a budget of say... $200 - $300

There are a few things I have had my eye on.... black bumper caps, black fender flares, cold air intake.... recovery tools/boards/etc....leveling kit, cash toward a lift kit (impersonal my wife says)...

Pretty stock thus far cept' an OV tune and some exterior cosmetics, rack and roof tent....

Maybe outside the Taco Universe.... outdoor / overlanding gear?

    Help a brotha out...

For that moment you bought her the wrong gift, over cooked dinner, or forgot something major.

She cannot get mad at you at all.

For $200-$300, you could get a package of traction boards, a battery jump pack, and a first aid kit. Call it a "Get our of minor trouble," pack.

Within the given budget; I use recovery strap(s) and D-Shackles, the most.

If you don't have recovery boards, go for a set of Maxtrax (or similar quality boards).

Something cheaper, Jump packs are great. We love our Gooloo branded ones. I have two, bought a pile of them for family members, and my roomie just bought a couple as well. I haven't heard of one failing yet. They are great for camping, too, since you can recharge phones, and with a cig port/12v adapter I've run my water pump and a bunch of LED lanterns strung together, too.

@Stocklocker's idea of a chainsaw is great too. Electric is absolutely the way to go for intermittent use off the truck. Something in the 50-60 volt range. I've got the 56v Ego w 14inch bar. Only used it a couple times, but was awesome to have when I needed it!
