Incredibly cool rig that has been very well thought out but sweet Jesus, Joseph and Mary that price tag is full retail value (including labor)! I'm talking Price is Right showcase pricing here!

Exactly ... like 1 ton with an Arctic Fox, and then even tow something like a stripped down/lifted two-door Jeep, for about the same cost.

That is a really nice setup! I don't think it's worth the money though

Too bad I got a short bed, those look nice. Larger than what I have for sure!

The other way to grind: give a millennial your car with three on the tree!

Yup, should’ve seen my son’s face when he first tried driving it!

Imagine having such a hate boner for a state you incoherently shoehorn nonsense into random internet threads that have nothing to do with it.

People who can afford to build or buy this truck aren't leaving California.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to weatherproof the house for our 65* winters.

You could splurge on a 4WC or GFC for your wheelbarrow, I mean, short bed. Or find something this size and have it hang 8” or so past the tailgate.

Amen to that. 15° this morning in the little town where I live that all the Californians are flocking to like the plague. Shit my current renters are from that golden state where the money flows like the water diverted from Eel and the Owens to flush the fucking toilets.

    PREACH ON BROTHERRRRRRRRRRR!

My personal favorite is the sinking ship part with our growing economy and existing as a place to aspire to for many. I mean if it so awful here...leave?

Personally, I like people who leave the state for the rest of us. The desert is nicer that way!

Listen, pal. I’m a planner. Important to know the operating costs up front. Need to know if I’m going with the $500 or $1000 deductible, and if the mods are covered.

Over on Expedition Portal, where similar rigs are planned and documented, I recall reading that a guy's original insurance company wanted him to insure his Ram as a commercial vehicle due to having a flatbed (for his Four Wheel Camper). The insurance co. no longer saw is as just a privately owned pickup. I recall his advice was to check with your insurance company.
