I did it all myself including the ECGS bushing but some people just don’t wanna do it.

The possibility of having the dealer do this install and then 13 months passing and them not throwing another crappy needle bearing in there has got to be like 0% if it fails.

“Live better” seems a bit much as some people do not see working on their truck as living better haha. Anyways, have a good Sunday people.

Our local dealers use a well known local 4wd shop in our parts and I had the Bilsteins installed there. No problems, my dealer said I will not have issues with them if warranty issues arise, but I had my ECGS bushing installed when the lift was installed. Some dealers are using this when the OEM needle bearing goes bad. It will happen, I would not want to keep replacing it every so often because its going to happen. It cost me about $150 in labor plus the bushing kit. Our local shop does the bushing on every Tacoma they lift. Shit sucks when you spend all this money on an already over priced kit and dealer installed rates to have a vibration issue. They your going to be chasing the vibration as they rule out drive line angles as every truck is slightly different or are they going to say its normal or maybe its the typical bS you hear about what actually causes these trucks to vibrate. Some may need a front diff or a rear carrier drop or both. Mine did and my neighbors didn't.

I’m still chasing a slight vibe with mine even after the ECGS bushing. I think when I do SPC UCAs and get another alignment I should be fine, but who knows.

I had my lift, ecgs bushing and front diff and rear carrier drops done first, then tested for vibes before adding the new tires and wheels. Just a little extra effort up front so we didn't have to eliminate things as we go.

I’ve got the carrier drop sitting in the garage. Need to throw that on and see if it helps. Hopefully it will.

Installed my carrier bearing drop kit after work today (took all of 5 minutes laying on the garage floor with a 14 and 17mm socket).

After 20 minutes of cruising around afterwards... I think it's safe to say all my vibes are gone! Woohoo!

Have a link for the ones you used? If I do the lift, I'll probably do the same to help with towing.

Thinking of getting this installed once I get my truck just for the peace of mind of having the warranty and that it won't mess with the sensors.

But we'll see, might just go for a 3 inch lift with new wheels instead.

Sorry I didn't specify but it won't be a factory lift if that's what you were wondering

I’ve read back about 10 pages or so, but does anyone have the parts list for just the lift…I already have the pro grill.
