So it took me 9 hrs to install front coils and rear AAL

Do I suck? Feels like it took FOREVER! Although that includes a 20-30 min beer break and running to Lowes to get wood blocks to jack the truck up higher. So maybe 8 hours 15 min or so.

 

Seems long but the important thing is you did it yourself! Hopefully correctly as well lol

 

You finished right? That's all that matters.

It took me about 6 hours to do mine by myself.

 

It took us 6 hours I think.that included lunch and a trip to the parts store

 

Probably faster than I'll do it when I do mine so don't feel too bad lol

 

Well that was me by myself, no help, and I had my 4 year old at home with me. Ok, I'm out of excuses. The other side always went quicker though, I had a HELL of a time lining up the holes for the first AAL but the other side I got it on the first try. Glad it's done, my Method wheels should be in sometime this week, I can't wait.

Doing it yourself is always worth it no matter how long it takes cause when its all said and done you can step back and say "wow, i just did that" It Took me and trd7 about 4 hours to do his and took me around 2 hours to do my front coils but that was with a lift and fancy air tools

 

Yeah, no air tools for me, just ratchets and wrenches

I was dying for an air compressor and an impact wrench and air ratchet by the end.

But you're right, I love that when I get to work and show it off to people who took their trucks in to be worked on, I can tell them I did it myself biatch.

 

x2 its the best feeling when someone asks me where i got somethin done and i say in my garage ! & when i did my first spacer lift and trd7's lift we did it with hand tools!

 

You didn't pay someone else to do it. That's the important thing. Feel good about yourself.
