Do you have a night shot showing the throw of those? I just ordered a set and I’m curious If one pair is enough.

Where are you Putting them? I have a set rear and sides so 3 sets. Not including any front stuff. 2 on each side is nice as the throw is so so. For close up flood is great.

I thought I had a night photo but I guess not.

I have one mounted mid shell and mid between doors and lower part of the tent. I planned to cover using those wire hider deals but haven’t got around it it.

Annoying part., I don’t have them mounted on tire drivers side. bolts are seized on the lights and need to adjust the angle. Add some anti-seize.

The front works well for mounting lights as well. I had an extra set of squadron sports. Almost glare and does not interfere when the tent opens.

Commercial grade Velcro. Got the tip form down other folks work other brands. Holds up to water and dust pretty well. I would use 4” wide. I have 2” doubles up but that’s all I could get at the time.
For safe measure I Later added an aluminum cross bar to maker site they stay there.

That doesn’t sound right. The pressure from the tent compressing against them should keep them in place.
With them being in storage your tent is just sagging into your bed area no?

I couldn’t see them falling out unless wrong size or installed wrong. We’ve driving pretty far and enough rough stuff with them never falling out.

My original plan is some old 6" Rigid SR diffused lights that will go on the overhang, then a SSC2 flood mounted closer to the rear and have them wired in line for each side to give full flood lighting. Curious if the SSC2 (or similar) would be enough on the overhang or not - it would save me some harness building and effort for sure.

Then I want to throw a 30-40" bar on the camper overhang - most likely in yellow/amber.

Noce I felt at least on S2. That it needed 2 for fill side coverage.

Nice sounds like your on the right track. I may grab a few of these to try it out up front instead of a lightbar. I always had a plan or idea to do it with BD LPs but the cost to entry was always too rich for me. These were posted and couple hundred bucks you could do en entire row hahaha

    Re: heating options.
Anyone running a camco olympian wave 3 or 6 (LPG) successfully?
My W6 seems to kick off a lot of heat (tried it indoors), coupled with a good down bag thinking that will be enough this winter.

you might run into a lot of moisture/condensation by running something like that in such a small space.

Roadshower 4G is installed. Definitely keeping the hose off until we need to use it. Wouldn’t want any unwanted use from someone

I hear you. Having a fan and some resident humidity might be a nice change here in arid country UT.
Really looking forward to my install this Monday.
LMK if I can give back to this awesome community for any X1 questions and to everyone who's helped along the way.
