We're on the same page... Currently staring at an empty bottle of Glenfiddich hoping some more materializes in there. What's everyone's choice of booze in here? I could use a break from the norm

Had some of that when I went to Seattle last month, I really didn't mind it. Definitely different though

Looks like North Lake Tahoe fire department got a budget increase this year.

Curious to see it in Seattle. It's mostly a Chicago thing... but I guess Chicago expats get around.

    I grew to like it.

Old Forrester 100 or 83, or Copper City, or High West bourbon. Now I've settled for Wild Turkey 100 cuz my local Fry's have no taste apparently. The last two are local to AZ I believe.

I don't really branch out unless someone else is providing

One of the hosts I was staying with has family in Chicago, every guest has to take a shot as a rite of passage in that house. It was genuinely one of the more pleasant options that they had haha, I'd buy it again if I could ever find it

    That checks out.

It can be bought online, but the shipping costs more than the bottle itself: https://www.theliquorbarn.com/search.php?search_query=malort

There was a store in town here that sold it for a while, but their distributor stopped carrying it. Now I rely on friends to bring me bottles when they road trip from Chicago. I have a few bottles in the cellar at the moment.

Kirkland Signature scotch whisky. Tastes great for the price point. If Im feeling spendy, Redbreast Irish whisky is where it's at

Bottle jack and heat weren't enough?

    Heat makes a big difference.

I will try some heat next. I’m always pretty cautious about heat.

Yeah, you don't want to melt the rubber... that could turn into a mess fast.

For my LCA bushings, I preloaded them with a bottle jack, heated them with a propane torch (I used regular blue-bottle propane), added a bit more tension with the jack, repeat if necessary.

Pay attention to where the bushing is pointed. It might exit the arm with some force. Also pay attention to what's under the jack. It might fall once the bushing gives.

If the bushing launches into the sun, I will be so happy
