I’m guna try and get it pulled out so I can use 4/4 doors and then bedline the bottom of the doors. Then get some sliders. Until then it’s strictly a grocery getter, I learned my lesson.

 

No hopefully this week. I bolted it back together so I can take it to powell to pull the engine. So will see. That's good to hear though. I have no idea what to expect from them.

Second set huh? So ATs and MTs? What would be the factor to decide when to use what? Winter? or trip based?

I am looking for a compromise tire, either an AT or RT. Trying to find a lighter tire that is either C or D. So far, the only possible downside to the Klever RT is they are E rated.

The new tent is an Alpha II. Think iKamper Mini but without the iKamper premium price tag.

 

Have you considered the ST/Maxx? My current set have 50K on them, with life left (I had a bad alignment for the first set). I have no traction complaints, and they are very well behaved on the highway. Quiet too (compared to Duratracs, and I'm sure compared to your Pros).

Downside is that they are E, as per usual.

 

The world is telling you to go with the Kenda's in 35x10.50 load range D.

Probably the next set of tires for my 2nd gen.

 

For being an E tire the Klever feel softer than the ST Maxx did. Could just be my imagination too.

I should have done this, the cracks along my pinch weld are just yelling at me to tub.

 

So you mean just a new set not a second set? As in you wouldn't swap tires around?

They are a possibility but they also are Es. And they are heavy.

Zane has my old Pros, I am currently on Maxxis Bighorns, 255/85r16. They are losing their edge and are noisy on pavement.

The new set will be a 2nd set. New wheels and tires.

As I said, a lighter tire (50-55#) in C or D.

It is a bit heavier per the scale but I did not 'feel it' on the trail or the highway. I suspect setup and tear down will get better. Not so much worried about that though.

 

What's with the 'no warranty' stuff? I don't get it.
