My 1/2 is ft lbs and 30-150. My 3/8 is Nm and goes both ways which is nice for left hand threads on bikes and stuff. I trust the 3/8 the most since it’s Park while the 1/2 is husky. Husky is mostly for lugs and hitches.

    That's whack...I get it tho.

Playing with two field measurements is what immortalized the Gimli Glider...

I do mix as well, but knot within process

    How does it shift?

You don't need the LS additive. Not sure if makes much difference to the synchros.

It shifts better but the fluid isn’t red or smell like transmission fluid

Color is meaningless. Just a dye.

What did it smell like? Gear oil?

You can’t compare gear lube used in a manual transmission with the red stuff labeled “transmission fluid” used in automatics. The “Ford” brand fluid I put in my manual transmission looked just like what you put in yours.

    I’m assuming no issues then?

I do not believe that syncros like GL5. The OM says GL4.

I just hit 1,000 miles in my 2021, it is a TRD Off-Road 6MT. I am going to be doing a road trip soon and I did a lot of hills, dirt roads, and used four-wheel drive during the break in, so I thought I'd go ahead and change all the fluids. I did this on my 2016 at about 5,000 miles. It was a mess and took way longer than anticipated, but I am really glad I did this, my notes are: engine oil had a fair amount of metal shavings and light brown tint; front differential fluid was clearly contaminated with a milky brown color and strong odor, substantial metal shavings on drain plug and in fluid; rear differential fluid was slightly contaminated with dark brown milky color, substantial metal shavings on plug and in fluid; transfer case fluid had medium brown tint and noticeable metal shavings; manual transmission fluid had a light brown tint and noticeable metal shavings. I am quite concerned about the way the front and rear differential fluid looked and how it was contaminated after only 1,000 miles. In comparison, my 2016 had no contamination but similar condition to the above. I replaced with the following: Pennzoil Ultra Platinum Full Synthetic 0W-20 and WIX 57047XP; Redline 75W85 GL-5 Gear Oil; Redline MT-LV GL-4 Gear Oil; Redline MT-90 75W90 GL-4 Manual Transmission and Transaxle Lubricant. Thanks again to the OP, your guide has been really helpful!

That is all there is other than the ADM if you haven't modded that yet.

I'm almost at 1k on my new '21 TRDOR with the 6MT. Definitely planning on diff and mt fluid change. Should I plan on changing the transfer case fluid as well to be safe?

No. I changed mine at 7k and regret it. It came out looking pristine. I would wait for 60k on the T case. The other fluids needed an early swap though.
