Has anyone been offroading out there? I had been out there 3 or 4x years ago but there is now a “Private Property” sign posted at the entry way. I always thought it was Blm land?

The place i am talking about is off of Lake matthews Dr. and Gavilan Springs Ranch road in the riverside/perris area.

Anyways, anyone know who I could verify the ability to wheel there with?

Just found out about this place not too long ago. Most of the entrances are blocked off closer to cajalco road and lake Matthew’s however there are VERY FEW spots that are not gated and don’t have any posted signage saying no trespassing (or at least from what I could see) there is BLM land that starts at monument peak. I have been able to get there with my TRD OR 4x4 taco no problem. The area doesn’t seem to get a lot of off-road use due to the trail rash I got haha I’d say about 85% of the trails are pretty wide open but a few spots that get pretty narrow even for the taco. Best advice is to get the GAIA GPS app on your phone and download the map later that shows public and private land and have fun exploring! Remember to be respectful and pack in and pack out any trash!

Nothing wrong with a lil 4 year resurrection. I enjoy that area because it's close to me. Roads range from graded washboard to washed out. Pic was a pre-Taco fail that required multiple trucks to get me out and the reason my Taco is getting a winch 20190226_133849.jpg

4x4 with rear locker and mud tires. Took another 2500 4x4 and a 4runner to pop it loose.

God damn! Lol was this like right after rain or something? Haha from the times I’ve gone out there I haven’t seen too many spots that look “dangerous” to prone to getting stuck haha I guess I need to explore more haha

It was after the rain, a few years ago when we had all the poppys. This spot didn't look dangerous either. The main road was a little sloped to the side at a turn and that's all it took. Dug for a few hours before calling in the family.

Daaamn that sucks haha well glad you guys were able to get it out. Thanks for the heads up. I noticed a few sections that were sloped with tight turns that I can imagine would get tricky.
