It's super easy. Use a dremel and only remove a little bit at a time. Can always remove more, you can't put it back.

Does anyone have the torque specs for the bolts to attach the bumper handy?

We recommend to torque them to 50-55ft lb

i'm wanting to pick up the full plate bumper as well and have the DD light bar too... trying to find some info if it'll mount up somehow in one of their 30" cutout options or if it can stay in the same spot with the stealth brackets I have now.... did you find anything out with this?

Not yet. I didnot choose the light bar option. I think i will go to a local fab shop and have them make a compatible bracket for that opening

Many people have kept their current lightbar using the brackets they already have. The brackets simply install over the top of our bumper mounting points. The only issue some folks have is that the lightbar can interfere with winch placement. We are not aware of what winches do and do not work easily. Most likely, the solenoid would need to be relocated if it were mounted on top of the winch.

thanks for the feedback... i'd much rather mount it in the bumper but i'm not sure the diode dynamics bar will fit with any of your current mounting tab options for the light bar cutouts you offer now.... doing some searches to see if anybody else has had luck

Somehow missed your post when searching to see if I can get the 30" DD bar I already have to fit... did you get your bumper yet, and which 30" cutout did you order? I'm about to order today or tomorrow... I'm guessing modification will be needed... I'm not a great welder but can definitely weld some hidden brackets on the back side of the bumper if needed like you said. Keep this updated if you would I'd love to see what you end up doing/ or what you did already to make it fit!

So I wonder which of the 30" cut-out options would be ideal.

Yeah that's what I'm wondering too... I looked at the dimensions of each bar and the Rigid bar is about the same depth but the Diode bar protrudes out further from the mounting bolt points on the sides if that makes sense. The width seems similar, would be easy enough to shim with some washers perhaps.

The Heise bar seems to be a bit bigger from top to bottom but not as deep. I'll probably go with the Rigid cut out and hope for the best lol. I'd rather the cut out be a little small than too big with gaps.

The BD cut out is scalloped looking kind of like the bar so that's a no go

Doing more searching this guy got his DD30 bar to fit in what looks like the cutout for the BD bar but just drilling 2 new holes... looks good! So that is promising, I just put my order in earlier with the rigid cutout option, hope I can get it to work, I didn't want to order the BD cutout because of the scalloped looking edges

I don’t know it it will help anyone, but I ended up using a belt-sander to straighten and clean up after the derimel cuts. It makes for very clean lines but leaves a burr that can be cleanly removed with a razor afterwards.

@SouthernStyleOffRoad do you folks offer a bracket or provision holes to mount the plate bumper with a 1” body lift?
