Most of us seem to like the composite bed. One less thing to rot out, and it does not require a bed liner. More than adequate for a Japanese utility truck.

I don’t get the obsession with steel beds. My composite bed has been absolutely fantastic. I do dump runs, gravel, furniture, firewood, camping gear, you name it. Has a few scuffs but I could care less how my bed looks, paint is a different story though…

Im almost there! Can’t wait man. I’ll try to pay it off for New Years. 3 years of car payments is enough for me.

Meh. I had a steel bed in my ranger and it looked way worse than my tacos bed. Mind you I didn’t have a liner, just that spray on bullshit. This composite bed is surprisingly very durable. I was a bit hesitant at first but not anymore, I just throw stuff in there and not worry about the bed.

Less payload too due to added weight. (Not like that’s a compelling factor when purchasing a Tacoma but does effect max tongue weight.)

For me I’d just like some more power and better quality of bushings used. Also a wife copilot would be a nice bonus.

Didn’t think about the payload, good point. I have the premium full otto tune so no power complaints here.:)

Wait so you want a wife in the passenger seat as a co pilot? When my wife rides with me, let’s just say I wish she stayed home sometimes haha. She doesn’t drive and gets scared or thinks that I don’t see a car or a person and it scares the shit out of me.

LMAO! Equally good point, maybe just someone who is along for the ride who loves me. :pout:

Truthfully, I’ve never had the need for more power, just a desire. I come from dirt and street bikes so I’m use to throwing myself around. But not having to go through tires as often from high torque is an added plus. :kona:

    Haha!

Hey man, you can always get a dog. He or she will always love you no matter what and they love car rides. Plus they don’t talk much during the drive.:D

Yeah I hear you, I was actually happy with the power output on the stock tune, then I joined TW…

Now that you put it that way, the pros are beginning to surpass the cons.

TW certainly has that impact on most of us. I’ve learned to avoid the BST as much as possible and keep to the more off topic discussions for that very reason. Thank you for the kind words. :fistbump:
