Ford initiated a recall to voluntarilly replace all of them. And they stoppeed production for a bit to get new ones on the ones being built. Looks like a good truck, but I wonder how it's going be at 150K miles.

 

I thought that was the 3pc hard top? Or did the soft tops have issues too?

 

I thought that was for the hard top? I dunno. The trucks should last. The engine(s) isn't new, and I don't think the auto transmissions are either. If I was in the market, I'd wait anyway. Ford is notorious for versioning their stuff. There's already a Bronco Raptor thing in the works...

 

I have weathertechs. I think you should buy a tacoma so you have a place to put the floormats you have.

A camo one with red wheels would really suit you

 

I didn't pay close attention, but I thought it was both because they stopped production of all of them to make for less dealer repairs. Thus was prior to the chip stoppage.

 

Same here. I grew up on Ford as dad worked for Ford Credit. But the last three were enough to approach with moderate expectations. Heat shields rattle at 30k, and by 35k, even the pavement princess would sound like a bucket of bolts. My F150 was nice, but half of the coil packs were replaced before 36k miles and a tune up was a dealer job unless you knew how to deal with gas rails which ran directly over the plugs. Don't start me on the Focus's. Even if I were in the market, I wouldn't be looking there. Not yet anyway.

 

Went exploring with @Cuffs today and found the "Historic Grand Canyon Airport" and explored some trails and roads around the area. Then Gwen and I went into the park and watched the sunset. If you haven't been here, bucket list this one. It is grand and majestic and incredible. If a pic is worth a thousand words, these would be speechless. You just can't describe it.

 

The electric bendy has two drive axles, so I guess that makes it 4wd

Cool cool. We don't march through there, we come from the chicken hill lot down to the stadium. We leave there 1hr before the game starts

Garage is getting closer and closer, thanks to Nick (@Darkgoatracer via Barry Construction). The trucks are keeping an eye on the work and getting excited for the first mod day!

Just found out that I get to be normal starting next week by having Saturdays and Sundays off. This revelation immediately prompted me to ask: When's the next off-road meet up/ mod day gonna happen?

So I did a thing, then immediately broke it...so the namesake still holds true just not so much these days with the taco


Still holding out hope that I don't break the stump bucket today/tomorrow morning since it arrived earlier today...and the stump must be gone!!
