Mine’s naked too and I live in the southeast…constant mud. I think it’s better empty because I can shoot the hose in there

It's for when people remove the small extension piece upon installing an aftermarket bumper. It keeps out mud, rocks and debris out of the frame when off-roading.
It's totally optional as is removing the extension piece.

im not sure if there is or not. I got the wire harness from camera source.com. I’m also considering replacing the rear camera because using their camera I can regain the parking lines again. It’s a pretty simple mod,

    1. Harness plugs in the back of the stock radio
    2. Utilize pin from radio harness
    3. Tie in other end of harness into camera harness at the fuse box.
    4. Tie into reverse power wire from camera harness then reset/turn off camera display on the mirror.

KO2 tires. Powder coated Rims. Bed cover. Sold my 1997 after my father passed and inherited his 2013. One day I'll go back to the oldie.
So my father passed away(RIP) and I inherited his 2013 4x4 Tacoma with 150k miles on it. Last year I put some BFG KO2 265/75/R16 (194$ each from walmart) and got my Factory Rims powder coated(hard to sandblast! $75 each). Removed the tool box and Installed a soft top cover from Parts Geek (200$). Also installed an 8 inch antennae. After a year of driving had the tires rotated and aligned. Put in an AGM battery (Super Start platinum $200) Did a tuneup with iridium plugs.(ended up cracking one and freaked out when it ran like shit$50). Autozone ignition coils cus they cheap and lifetime warranty(250$) Also put in New HEPA cabin air filter and intake filter.. Just recently did a full drum brake replacement of the drums, shoes and springs.($350) and of course! Multiple oil changes ( using synthetic from now on).
Future upgrades are some nice LED headlights, mudflaps, front bumper bar and locking gas cap.
Unfortunately, when doing the rear drum, we checked the bearings and heard a slight rubbing sound as if the bearings were going out. I saw this was a huge job to repair that involves a shop press. Has anyone done this or have a thread on checking the bearings on the rear wheels of a 4x4.

Tight right turn with a pine tree at the passenger door and the driver front corner. Went up on a root/rock with the driver side rear tire to manage the front tree then slid off of it to the right pushing the doors into the tree on the passenger side. That wedged me between the tree and rock/root ledge I had just slid off of, which is why it looks like I had to move forward and back a couple of times. I had to point myself away from the tree in front.

I deserved it and I'm really not sure if I'm going to do much about it. Probably see if the pinstriping and scratches will buff out, but that's about all.

Sliders wouldn't have helped, it was a broken branch about 2 inches in diameter and 18 inches long. What I need is the good judgement driving upgrade to my truck's driver.

    Every single time.

It took a few days...but they were productive. Not bad for a 3 day weekend.
New speakers (Kicker components and a 2.75" Mid-range and passive 3-way crossover)
Head unit (Kenwood, single DIN, no-frill Excelon unit with Bluetooth and external microphone)
    Sirius XP
Subwoofer, old JBL GTO 12" Powered sub. Used some quick connects for the power and ground, as well as the remote and controller lines.

    IMG-0867.jpg IMG-0866.jpg IMG-0918.jpg 617U2eFGWnL._AC_SL1200_.jpg IMG-0920.jpg

Then I did an engine and transmission oil change along with a TRD Quick Shifter
    65552428161--9D9241AD-CB1E-4783-94ED-5393AB71BA3F.jpg IMG-0928.jpg

Lastly, did the shocks, struts, replaced some broken wheel studs and added the blue Sumo Springs...adjusted the parking brake while I was in there.
Zip ties came in handy for the torn dust boot on the Drivers Side
