My trusty ol' gundog 'TacoStu' had taken a shine to the entire rear cabin of our new TRD OR DCLB. I leave the doors open and he spends the day in and out of it in our front yard. The new seat hammock is awesome.

So how does he like those "boots?" My Dog hated them. I think dogs hate them because their paws can't spread out to adjust to terrain like they should.

 

Dah! I can just smell the puppy smell.

 

Any suggestions to help a dog get in bed of truck easier?? He's only 2.5yrs old so he can get in just fine but we camp in the bed plus it's been lifted about 3" in the rear and it's getting harder for him. We are going on a 3 week coastal trip next summer and that's a lot of in and out for him. PS don't mind the close up feet.

I don't miss that phase.

I've raised two pups now and I like it better when they are over that. Especially the play biting.

 

I exaggerated I guess, I really didn't find it too bad (1st time raising a pup) We took 2 weeks off to get the best start possible. REALLY stayed on top of all the issues like potty training and separation anxiety. Basically 2 weeks of pure puppy training focus, it really helped carrying forward. Hardest thing we've dealt with is not pulling while walking. We're slowly getting there...

Man I do miss this stage tho. SO CUTE!
