Yeah it really just depends. I'm in the same boat. The wife has less than 30k on her '16 Subaru. We've used the warranty for new front fender flares and a neutral safety switch.

On mine I don't have 5k yet, and no issues yet.

Have owned Toyota’s for 30 years, my new freshie is the only one I bought an extended warranty for, they have so many electronics on them now, don’t trust it. Of course I drive 15-20K/year too. May never use it, may save me money on labor charges who knows??? It comes down to what you’re comfortable with.

Just picked it up 10/8. Not going to mod it much, I’ll do 265/75 Yokohama G015s come spring, be putting snow tires on in a month or so. Have 265/70 Blizzaks on steelies already waiting for the weather to turn.

    Thank man!

Was long time hold out on the 3rd Gen, took awhile for it to grow on me, loving it! Only had it a week and already put 500 miles on it.

6 months in, absolutely love this thing. Came from an access cab 2.7 first gen, essentially the same truck except for the big center screen.

Where are my 2020+ SX owners at?

So '19 never came with a bedside decal, and I was curious about it. Does it have any clear/transparent parts to it like the TRD decals have? Or is the "SX" the only part of the sticker?

Also, if anyone happens be near their (truck) bed side with a tape measure, could you perhaps give some height/width dimensions?

New SR owner. Before and after a few mods: Predator tube steps, alloy anthracite wheels, retractable Leer tonneau cover and some Rough Country seat covers. I had all terrain tires mounted onto the steel wheels that came with the truck and will switch back and forth depending on the season.7196170b18bd709a_LI.jpg 245169799_10220107522941942_2436510963927374542_n_LI1111.jpg

Especially considering 'SX' isn't even an actual model, just a port enhancement. I agree, no decal looks substantially better.

SX is as real as any of the TRD's. It's an actual option on the Toyota website, unlike the TSS Package Tacomas, which are a port enhancement.

Is the SX available nationwide? Maybe I was confusing TSS or whatever with SX. I've never seen either in person, actually.

Yep, peeled mine off the second day.

I searched and searched, does anyone know where I can get solid black emblems? Seems like I can only find the covers. Or do I have to buy chrome then put the covers over them. Would like to add “Tacoma” to the doors and “V6” to the tailgate.

They can be found either on EBay or Amazon. I put the black Tacoma on the doors and a 4x4 on the tailgate.

    Thanks

Have looked there, and some venders, but can only find the overlays, not a solid black emblem. It came with 4X4 on the tailgate, which appears to be solid black plastic and not an overlay.
