Think we will be heading up tomorrow. Her brother and his gf are going to follow us, instead of me driving my truck at 14mpg. Then we will get an air bnb somewhere in CT/NY/PA, then come back Sunday

    Amtrak isn't in Worcester..?

did they tell you the estimated ship date as of today?
my honda dealer gave me an estimated 10/3 ship date, but it is possible that it gets bumped out further, so now sitting patiently

No. They don't even have a VIN. I will just continue to call them weekly for updates. Id think that when they get a vin, they'd have a better idea on delivery

    :notsure:

they have a tentative ship date list for slated inbound units from honda, even though they dont have vin numbers and all dates are tentative and subject to change...

but i agree, no point in bugging them at this point just gotta sit and wait :tumbleweed:

Can’t you contract for a specific inbound vin like with cars?

How tall are you? I test rode an Africa Twin and it was nice but the seat height seemed way higher than advertised when compared to a other bikes that supposedly had the same measurements.

not the way I understood it, at least not with the make and model I put a deposit on (little 110cc pit bike with no options available)

I would guess if you are going to spec something out specifically, perhaps you can contract a specific inbound, but I am not sure how that works

in my case, my dealer showed me their inbound unit list from honda, it showed a bunch of different models each with a unit quantity number and a slated ship date

this was all honda items, there was a guy shopping for a polaris utv and apparently that is an entirely different monster, the units are made here in the states and no units will be delivered to any retailer unless that unit was ordered for a customer, all custom spec upgrades would be dealer installed, my guess is in this case it is a specific vin like you mentioned
