Guys driving a base model sr access cab, clearly he can’t be reasoned with, does not make good choices, you’re not going to get threw to him.

Don't forget about the stevedores. Can't have a successful supply side conspiracy without them.

It’s a well documented fact that labor shortages are part of the causes in shipping delays and hurting retail outlets and thus consumers. just Google in News “labor shortage” and “shipping delays”. While his Economics 101 is sound, I think the longshoremen and unions are actually helping by working overtime.

I love when people bring up tin foil hat then offer 0 reason for why this is happening. Just a your bird brain can't understand this complicated stuff I know. I'm much smarter.

I love it when people offer conjecture as fact and put things like "econ 101" in front of it. By the way grandpa domesticated pigs begin to go feral within a week of escaping a farm, so much for your wild animal argument.

Real answers take more time and space than you can reasonably expect here on a forum. And any answer I give would be unlikely to satisfy your conspiratorial cravings.

As a consumer you have the most power to affect things with your $$.

Only buy what you need. Buy your wants at a later time.

Remember to separate Needs and Wants.

Example: I want to replace the headunit and speakers in my truck, estimate cost is near $1000. House needs to have mold remediation and attic insulation replaced. I'm still using the same headunit and speakers.

So instead of insulting people and educating you just throw random ridiculous things up that have 0 to do with supply chain. I'm in supply chain. I wanna see your superior knowledge tell me why this is happening. I know it's not feral pigs.

He clearly was joking himself as it’s obvious he didn’t really care, but like the rest of obvious things and facts that just goes over your head.

I don’t think he’s going to be telling us his “theories” for the massive labor shortages or rampant inflation any time soon. ;)

Ford dealerships seem to be doing a lot better than Toyota's. The 3 closest to me have plenty of Bronco Sport, F-150 and Ranger on their lot. Toyota dealerships only have Corollas and CH-R.

That's all great but what happens when the uninsured lady totals your car but you don't have the new car rider on your policy? They give you a check and you go find something. So a want becomes a need at 0 fault of you.

I don't claim to have all the answers but I'm also not naive enough to fall blindly into a conspiracy theory trap

There’s not superior knowledge needed, it’s unemployment leaving gaps in work, and then those they are working have become more valuable to some, and have seen other companies offering more money for same said job, causing them to leave company a. For company b. Then it leads to delays due to training for new company and old company being down a person which piles up workload, deliveries etc.

So yes, delays are happening and unemployment and changes in supply and demand of workers in certain fields are effecting it, but is it a giant global conspiracy to raise prices and inflation, and teamsters etc, no.

Simple. I take the cash out on the totaled car. Find a used ride, buy it. Pocket the difference, if any.

In truth, you don't need a car. There are other modes of transportation. Feet, bicycle, taxi, Uber, motorcycle, roller skates, hover board.......

The most basic needs are Food, Shelter, Clothing. The rest.......
