I'm fine, but my neighbor was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer not even a month ago; She was only 41 years old and she left this earth on Monday morning. She left behind a husband, two kids, and an entire neighborhood that loved her more than you would ever believe. I just got home from the viewing...

 

Terrible. Prayers as well.

 

I'm redoing the tailgate of my truck in her honor; Got some pink ribbon magnets coming and I'm also gonna tie pink ribbons to the side mirrors...

 

Some people really don't deserve to die; I only met her a handful of times, but she was such a sweetheart. We did Jell-O shots at another neighbor's baby shower like a year ago...

A young girl at work was telling me about getting some special (good) assignment from her boss, I said "you must feel like the kid who got to sit in the back of the classroom and run the movie projector".

She looked at me like I was suddenly speaking Greek... She had never seen a movie projector. Boy I felt old...

Remember mimeograph machines?

 

Lol. I don't remember mimeograph machines but I do remember the movie projector, if u were in good faith with the teacher u could run the slide projector and re wind the film movie. Heck I remember being aloud to clean the chalk board ..... child labor.....

 

Teachers used the mimeograph machine made the pale blue/purple printed copies of tests, handouts, etc.
If they were fresh the paper would be warm and the ink had a particular smell to it.

 

how about microfilm and microfiche?

now we’re dating ourselves.

 

I’ve used microfilm, my old work alot of the old manuals and drawings were kept in records using it. What a pain to try and find a document. We are spoiled with pdf and word search features now.

 

Good morning. I woke up at 6 a.m. to find my grandson out on our porch. The winds were really moving. I would say at least 60 mph. We came in and the local newscast said that there was a tornado watch but the watch was for the area about 10 miles north. It's now moving toward Cranberry. Stay safe.

Looks like the new SR5 Tundra has a towing capacity of 11,900 lbs.. after they work the kinks out I might have to pick one up..

 

That’s pretty crappy for a full size truck to be honest, compared to some of the numbers the other “big 3” are putting out. I think the tundra is nice but not the truck to own for towing heavy loads constantly.

 

I have not 1 but 2, yes 2 microfiche machines.
I would love to unload them to someone who actually has a use for them.

 

Todays entertainment is a live death match

 

Toyota said years ago they aren’t trying to compete with the big 3. Toyota knows they run the tow show. Toyota basically has their own market for the Tundra
