This really gets to me, and what really makes me sad is seeing my friends who knew her better than I did crying; I gave the wife of the guy who installed my backup camera a big, firm hug.

I partially dezombified the truck yesterday before going to the viewing, in the interest of respect and good taste; I've got to say it doesn't look bad even without various accessories...

 

Now, it's time to rezombify!

 

Better use of the neck chain in my opinion...

 

I am now legally allowed to hunt zombies at the state and federal levels!

 

So, I'm allowed to use birdshot in Pennsylvania on a PA permit, but not while hunting out of state on a United States permit...

 

VERY IMPORTANT: This is a mock-up! The zombie stuff is taped off with blue painters tape because I spent thirty bucks for the decal kit and I don't feel like ripping it off and buying it again; I say again, I would NEVER put the breast cancer stuff (aside from the pink ribbons on the side mirrors) on the truck simultaneously with the zombie stuff!


I put this in the 2nd Gen forum because I feel it'll get the most traffic here.

Some members may know, but my neighbor's wife was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer barely a month ago and she just passed away on the morning of Monday, October 11th; She was 41...

This has hit everyone in my neighborhood, including me, incredibly hard. I plan on doing some stuff to my truck, and my neighbors approve of the photos I posted on Facebook; However, I though I'd see what my fellow TW members think...

Please excuse the painter tape, as I decorated my truck with a "Zombie Response Team" theme before I knew my neighbor was even sick; I covered up the zombie stuff to make the tailgate look a bit more tasteful for this picture...



My ultimate plan is to commission a magnet version of the homemade sign you see in the above picture, but I'm still not sure about what I should put on it. I also, I think I'm gonna keep the black lettering, but go with a white background and little pink breast cancer ribbons on either side...

 

I've also got pink ribbons tied to each side mirror and to the trailer hitch receiver...

 

I want you (and everyone else) full on nut bar at my funeral. I want to hear laughter in Heaven, not crying at the crazy shit we did

IMHO, I think to properly honor the neighbor that all the Halloween stuff should be stripped off. It could be viewed as poor taste to mix the zombie stuff with trying to honor the deceased neighbor.

Then visit with the neighbor about what THEY think is proper to honor their loss.

 

This is only a mock-up, which is why I taped off the zombie logos for the picture. The truck isn't to be done up in the cancer stuff until after Halloween, when all of the zombie stuff is off of the truck until next year...
