Why dont you just make a pink vinyl sticker to add to your back window mix and leave the tacky stuff off the truck?

"It's disrespectful to take pictures of your truck in cemetery" was the first unwanted comment; Everyone else loves it so I don't really give a shit...

Now, I've got a member who misunderstood that the "In Memory of" sign seen on my tailgate in another post was merely part of a mock-up and not going on the truck permanently on until after Halloween, and is lecturing me about being disrespectful to the deceased...

    :annoyed:

Again, this was only a mock-up; The breast cancer stuff (with the exception of the pink ribbons that are on there for breast cancer awareness month) isn't going on the truck until November 1st.

Pink vinyl sticker sounds great, but space on the rear window is also pretty much spoken for. I was thinking about doing one on the hood through the end of the year, but I don't know if they them that big readymade...

If I could afford it, if I didn't have enough on my plate with the frame getting replaced, and if I wasn't going to have it removed in a few months, I'd have the whole truck wrapped in pink!

I'm sorry for your's and more importantly your neighbor's loss. That's said I feel strongly about memorial stickers. I don't like them or agree with them. They don't accomplish anything and they don't really mean anything. I think the better option would be to take the money you were going to invest in a magnet that would fade or fall off sometime in the next year and instead donate that money to a cancer charity. I look at it as making a real difference in their memory as opposed to letting everyone on the road know that you know someone that lost their battle.

And remember I took the zombie stuff off when I drove to the viewing last night; I didn't want someone who didn't know me seeing a Zombie Response Vehicle in the parking lot of the church and thinking I was distasteful. Trust me, I know there's a time and a place for everything, but I don't think all TW members realize that I know...

Personally I don’t think it’s your place to have something like that on your truck, no offense. I would honor her in a different way

Seriously, the neighbors all love it after seeing the mock-up posted on my Facebook; I am actually looking for a bit of constructive criticism here but again the neighbors, including the other wives who were closest to her, love it!

Though my mom says I shouldn't be driving around with someone's name, date of birth, and date of death on the truck; I see people driving around with "In memory of" stuff on their vehicles all the time.

:pumpkin: The Ballad of the Ophelias...

So I assembled one of these things and found it to be missing parts; My boss told me to take said parts from another unopened Ophelia we had on the floor, so I did...

The first Ophelia would turn on and do the creepy demon voice, but the demon wouldn't move and the voice would crack and sputter; I called over my other boss and we determined that first Ophelia was defective and had an electric short of some sort. So, I ended up assembling the second Ophelia, which is what you see here...

:pumpkin: This is what Ophelia is supposed to do; The demon head's eyes lit up, but the head wouldn't move on the first one...
