Did you install this unit from brand new? How many miles are on it?

Do you think Magnuson will honor their warranty if this unit has been disassembled?

I bought it october 2019 brand new. there is about 12k on it. I don't see why they wouldn't with it disassembled. you can see it is theirown gasketmaker they use on the face surface. so its never been re assembled. I took it apart thinking it was a nosecone problem that I could fix myself. tough break... maybe now is a good time to get it ported? definitely going methanol when it goes back on.

Does anyone have experience with Jon Bond Performance, or any other SC rebuilding company? My 3RZ-FE Alpine supercharger is due for a rebuild before I tune it up for more boost. It's developed a new whine that changes with RPM (different from the obvious SC normal whine) and I'm thinking the bearings are going out.

My snout is leaking oil too, so that can be an issue. I rarely see any threads or support on the four cylinder superchargers, so I'm wondering if anyone has had experience rebuilding these Alpine superchargers, the cost associated, and the experience they had. I believe it has the same Eaton blower as the Magnuson v6 iteration. I'm running a 7.5 PSI pulley, and with a tune on an AEM FIC 6, I am getting 7 PSI peak and 5-6 average at WOT. Looking to go up to a 10 PSI pulley after the rebuild.

High Speed Lab rebuilt my supercharger in 2020.
They took 10 months to do it.
Its been a bit more than 10,000 miles since then and so far it’s working fine.
I’m running a stock pulley with the URD 7th injector kit.

Just sent mine out to them about a month ago. Already have had quote come back for necessary parts for replacement and a repaint. Expecting it to be done in a month or so. Communication isn't always the best with them but I've heard nothing but good things about them. So not too worried about it taking forever. Was also a very fairly quoted rebuild IMO.

To those of you running the NGK 92400 plugs, did you leave them at the .031'' gap they come set at? They look very fragile and difficult to change the gap on.

Is your engine happy with the .031'' gap?

    Everything.
Refresh my memory please...what is the recommended gap for the supercharged 3.4?

I am putting new coil packs on and figured id change plugs as well since they are 5 years old. They are IK20s and the current gap on the old plugs is around .043

My truck has the stock pulley and the TRD 7th kit with the piggyback ECU.

I’ve got those fancy ruthenium’s @1997tacomav6 recommends and have them at w/e gap they came with. Truck runs great with them so far… if I can find the model number again I’ll see what that gap is

Nice, this is the info I was looking for earlier. NGK 92400 is the name of them.

I was under the impression that with iridium plugs there's no need to gap them, just run them right out of the box.
