put the deck back in the bed of my truck, getting the camping gear ready to go for state park campground trip this coming week. Now pricing up ditch lights since I've got the fog lights ordered and am just waiting on them.

lows in the mid 30s-low 40s and highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s. probably a good chance to test ways to keep the truck bed warm when sleeping in it.

I bought this same kit as well. They work decent. The dome light is still pretty weak and for some reason, when you bump the wipers to do a single wipe, sometimes the map lights flash for moment…randomly.

I’ve slept in the bed many times- composite is relatively warm, x2 if you have the OEM bedmat for some insulation. Metal beds are meatlockers.

Sadly, one load of loam, and the tailgate gap filler pulled off the bed and filled the gap with loam.

3.5 lift, 315/75-16, DIY hybrid front bumper, skids, sliders, ditch lights, hood struts, tailgate lock, bed rack, custom exhaust, horn meant for an actual truck, neoprene seat covers
Lift is finally on, kit's been sitting in garage for 4 months waiting for temps to drop below 95 by 10am...

    KDMax tuned last Thurs.

Triming to do, then tires next.(also sitting in garage, lol) 20211016_133232.jpg

I have an OSB platform in it and just got a 53x74 memory foam mattress topper to put on the platform should be nice. not a whole lot of space, just enough to lay down and move around but I've slept in it already, without the pad, and it works

Bed rack gone. Waiting on diamond back to show up. Need to find a good spot under the bed for the 0.5 gallon air tank. Fend-x liners. And Gen 2 Morimotos. 20211016_170543.jpg 20211016_170746.jpg 20211016_170513.jpg

Decked box and Leitner Hi-lift mount added today. Jack needs to be oriented in the opposite direction to access the tiny tub though :)25D35BEF-F676-4269-B6B5-7613D816FB78.jpgA6F45805-B27E-4CE6-81C9-D26935D6F702.jpg

If I were doing it, I would purchase a panel of 2 inch "blue board" to put under me. (i inch breaks too easily)

And get a pair of "camp slipper socks" $20 or so, just in case ;-)

    eta

OH! I just read about your foam pad/set up. nix the blue board! ;-)

But check the on-line info about the state camping sites. some might be closed or have the water shut off. Fore warned is fore armed!

Curious as to what they charge and your experience with them. They are like 10 minute from me and I've been on the fence about just booking an appointment with them.

This was a complete DIY! I bought a gallon jug of the NH coating stuff at the auto parts store. Sprayed it on with a home spun siphon wand that I whipped up twenty years ago.
Blew the mist into as many cracks and crannies as I could find. plus all the brackets and surface metal. It's at least "better". Better than what is yet to be known.

I can't say a thing about the application stations. or costs sorry.
