I just bought a set of the XLTs. They definitely still make them in 285s. It was a choice between 285s and 295s for me. I ended up with the 295s though, which is a less common size.

    Just getting started...
Granted I didn't check all 83 pages first (sorry), but any chance there's anyone using these who has also used STT Pro's in the past and can comment on the noise/vibe difference in them (if any)? I currently have the Pro's and I'm looking for something a little quieter and less filling rattling during daily use. lol The pattern on these looks less aggressive, but wanted to see if anyone could chime in with first hand experience.

I didn't think the STT Pros were that harsh or that loud. :notsure:. The AT3 XLTs I have a quieter and maybe a little less stiff since they don't have the Armour-Tek3 sidewalls.

These tires bend screws! Didn’t puncture the tire.

No need for E load imo.

Makes sense , would have thought a bigger weight difference between the two.

I think that depends what you are using the truck for or if you are spending a lot of time on Dirt roads. I think E rated is less likely to puncture and the side walls are usually thicker

    Speaking of 285/75/16…

I got a set of E load Discoverer XLTs put on this past week, replacing a set of the same size Falken Wildpeak MTs. The Coopers cut down 14lbs per tire over the Falkens and so far the grip, noise levels, and ride are amazing in comparison.

I've also recently had to pull a screw out of mine. Ended up causing a very slow leak.
