Overhaul HD solutions for Tacoma/Nissan

I currently work at a rack outfitter store, due to supply chain issues nobody is able to get ahold of the bed track kit 1 by Yakima to make the overhaul HD or the outpost HD truck racks work on their vehicle? Wondering if anyone figured out a workaround, partially asking for myself and for any customers that are wondering the same thing I am.

 

Following this. Any word on inventory re-stocks?

 

All inventory will get worse until it gets better, say 1st qtr 2023. It is what it is. When I say all I mean ALL, from toys for kids to couches to condoms to lawnmowers. This includes all truck mods. Good luck.

A few months ago these were everywhere and the tonneau kit was sold out, now it seems to have flipped. They’ll come back around eventually :/ keep an eye on Rei, that’s where I eventually got my tonneau kit. They got them back in stock first and shipped it out quickly.

 

I personally like the DRT's; but not 100% on the mounting used.

If you're having problems getting parts like this, order them from a reseller that handles backorders well.

I whole-heartedly recommend etrailer.com, they were able to secure my tonneau kit 1, even though it took a couple months and repeated push backs.

They kept me in the loop about every new delay, was pretty awesome.

 

Thanks for the mention! We too are experiencing delays from our manufactures which makes it tough but we have been working hard and currently aiming to not see a lead time longer than 2-3 weeks.

 

Have you found an update OP? Are there any other racks that a Yakima RTT is compatible with?

I made a similar post with no luck on a mod that could make it fit. Luckily another member called a store in his area and found one for me. If you are still looking they may have another.
