Had a little buck pursuing three does around the backyard this morning. Glad they got away. He was not part of the gene pool you want to propagate.

 

I bet he would disagree.

 

I have not replaced my compound bow since it was stolen from my truck a couple years ago . I do have arthritis, screwed up rotator cuff’s and a bad back on top of all the retina surgeries that compromised my vision but I still hunt .
I do have an Excalibur Xbow but in NY you can only use it 2 weeks prior to rifle season which is the 3rd Saturday in November. I’m over the little bucks that run around here . Too many hunters are brown and down here . So my plan is headed to Pennsylvania on the 31st for a week with the Xbow . This is the biggest buck I’ve seen this year on my cameras

 

I used to spend every waking moment in a tree before all these eye surgeries. Makes it real tough .

I have a ton of arrow building equipment for sale . Enough jigs to fletch 18 arrows at a time ,Apple arrow saw ,cresting machine and lots of vanes ,nocks and all the other crap that goes with it .

 

I didn't plan on bow hunting this year until a few of these started to visit my farm. I set up a ground blind yesterday, gonna set up another blind today, cause yesterday evening I saw a couple of them and I know what trail they take.
