2.5". I was originally thinking 3", but I hear the ride is a lot harsher at that height.

I did 2.5" up front and it rides better than stock (didn't like how soft the stock OR was).

Thanks! I love it. Got the 2019 instead of the 2020 specifically for the Cav Blue. Sometimes I wonder if the dogs would be happier with a double cab though. I've got an Aussie and an English shepherd so it's a little tight back there, but we're managing for now. Really the Aussie just needs to learn to sit his butt down for the ride instead of pacing

Haha props to your wife. I'm the builder in my household too, used to build sets for theatre and did a brief stint in a cabinet shop one summer back when I was in college :)

You guys are making me look at those rear seat decks now. Bought my truck in November 2020 and have only had a back passenger twice. Where as my dogs, usually a few times a week.

Wife built me this grill-hut... we are building out the entire back-section of the house as an outdoor-cooking area...
Sink / gas-top / prep area ... well, she is building it out I just hold the wood pieces while she cuts and puts them together.

Yup, my Mel is the same way. Almost never sits still for more than 30 seconds (except for when he has to "stay" before meals, while I'm refilling the water bowl, and coming out of his crate).

The only thing that has worked so far is to make him super freaking tired. That way he gets in, lies down, and knocks out. He's still a puppy (11 months) so I'm hoping some of this is just chaotic puppy energy that will simmer down in a few years. Will definitely let you know if we figure something else out!

I'll never cook a turkey in the oven again. I buy 12-14 pounders, dry-brine for 2 days, cook on the grill at ~350 until turkey hits about 160 take it out
tent it with foil and let it set and finish up. The key is temp control and I use a remote thermometer to let me know grill and turkey temp. Dry
brine allows for better skin crisping, is cleaner, safer, and so good. Oh I use Royal Oak Lump charcoal too.

We are building 2 more similar structures plus a structure to hold the ooni outdoor wood fired pizza oven.

    We like to cook...

Why was the Tacoma even getting a smog cert? And yes Cement is a great color.

The wife does nice work. The slats are quite helpful to ward off the Arizona sun. She built out this setup too for our Ooni Pro Wood Fired Pizza Oven.
    This thing is bitchin cool...
