Put a bit of weight in the back; see if that affects it.

Then I guess I don't understand how it applies beyond 2019 since this is what the TSB says:

    upload_2021-10-11_6-10-44.jpg

Do they just apply it to additional MYs without updating it?

It's a long shot since it occurs in neutral, but have you tried in S3?

I have the same issue on my 2021 4wd double cab, vibration decelerating at 25-20 mostly but also other speeds. I took it to the dealer and they changed the rear leaf springs per TSB 0124-20 (which supersedes 0071-19 and covers MY16-21) and added the steering wheel damper under the horn pad. This helped but I still feel the vibration, especially when braking or decelerating. I owned a HD truck shop for years and am very familiar with driveline vibration, which is what this is, probably caused by U-joint angles being wrong. It's not warped drums/rotors or anything else as it's a very fast frequency. Changing the leaf springs changed the pinion angle which decreased (but not eliminated) the vibration. In the past I've added pinion angle shims between the leaf spring and axle or raised/lowered the carrier bearing to correct this. Leaf springs are expensive compared to pinion shims, I was kind of surprised that Toyota would take the expensive way out.

It will go back again but I'm not holding my breath. I'm expecting them to say NPF and give it back to me. Supposedly both the tech and the SM drove it after the repair and pronounced it fixed......

PS The TSB has the tech remove the driveshaft and drive it in 4H to verify the shake is gone. The u-joint bolts weren't touched so I know he didn't do that, and probably didn't measure the angles like he was supposed to. My guess is he flat-rated it, hung the springs and considered it fixed. I have a lift so I checked his work including bolt torques.

After the third or fourth one I didn’t pull the shaft either.
You know what it feels like, no need to pull it..

Well Im done begging the dealer for them to fix it. After 2 time to the dealer and being left without a vehicle for 6 days I got tired of it and sold it. I sold it back to a different dealer for what I bought it for over a year ago. So basically had a free truck for a year.

The tsb doesn’t fix the vibration. It’s still there, it’s the same thing since this gen came out.
All it does is move the vibration to a different speed or situation.
    It’s all about your perception.
    I could have done mine.
    Had the 30mph vibe.
    But I tow a boat.
Anything over 45 it’s smooth with or without the boat..
I’ve done this tsb many times and after I’m done. The vibe is gone at 30.
And then it pops up at higher speeds.
I left it right where it was.
So, your repair results will vary.
    Vibration intensity will vary.
    Oh yea.
I had one guy come back in and wanted his old stuff put back on.
Because after I described exactly what could and poss would happen he wanted it done.
His truck vibe was minor. Yes his specs were off. Ooookkkkkkk..
I fixed his vibe at the speeds he said BUT , NOW I FEEL IT ON THE HIGHWAY..
    Sorry.

So heed a little advice from someone that swapped more springs than I care to think about , be very careful of what your trying to eliminate as there is a good chance it’s going to pop up somewhere else.
If they haven’t fixed it in over 10 years ……….

Interesting. I've noticed this as well. Not all the time but kinda randomly. I'm gonna keep my eye on this.

I’d bet it’s drive shaft relate. A good check of the balance and phasing is in orders.

Mike, I appreciate your experience and input. There's still much more vibration than should be there and if this problem has been there for 10 years, why hasn't Toyota figured it out? Driveline vibrations aren't rocket science. I own/owned many Toyotas including 4 new Sequoias, several Ravs, Camrys and others so I'm a loyal customer. My vehicles are all bone stock and I've never had anything shake like this.

To me, it feels like like the ABS system pulsating when I feel it.
