After a third occurrence with Trac Off light and CEL, along with no acceleration and stalling, I think my truck is fixed. Mine left me stranded and required a tow to my buddy’s shop. Luckily it was still acting up when he drove it. Upon inspection of the relays and wiring, his tech found a loose wire like a previous poster shared. The repaired the bad connection and the problem was instantly resolved. Fingers crossed, this will solve this for good, as I was believing I bought a lemon.

Do you know what the problem was with the fuel rail? Sensor?

Yes....apparently it was a bad sensor....the sensor is not available separately from the low pressure fuel rail....

That dealer needs to get their troubleshooting shit figured out, assuming it's the same problem.

Similar issue would run but not when I went to drive, would sputter like your out of gas. Gave me fuel rail codes and others turned out my new fuel pump went bad (recall was done and that was the one that went bad) maybe could be that

TOY515 - I would remove your EFI relays and look for a loose female connector. The problem I had was that the wire from under the junction box had come loose. They are supposed to snap into place and the relays push into those female connectors. There are several reports of this happening, which results in the lights coming on a drivability problem.

I have gotten the same 2 codes. Replaced the FDR, and the P1235 went and away and was replaced by the P062D, relaced the ECM and the P062D went away and the P1235 is back.

Idles fine but stalls when I push on the gas. Looking at the Fuel pump next, but not sure that is the right way to go. I got a 2016 SR5 with over 100K miles on it.

Seabee Drew - if you haven’t already, look at the connections under the fuel pump relays. Sounds too simple to be true, but mine has been fine ever since my mechanic caught the loose connector.

So, I went to do that and realized that I am leaking gas from somewhere in the engine bay. Had it towed to the local shop as that is out of my skill set. I will let you all know what know they find.

So Toy515 Was right. The shop found that there was a loose wire under the fuse box. Snapped it back in and everything is good. As to the leak, it was oil, and they are trying to track that down now..... Joy....
