Inexpensive Light add to Cargo Lamp Circuit.

Do you have a pic of your set up? Just bought some lights for my up top rack and would like to tie them into the cargo light switch so they illuminate when I unlock and when I manually turn them on. This looks like exactly what I need.

 

@kmorgan3 sells a harness to intercept the wires on the cargo lamp switch (D35) so you don't cut the OEM wires.

 

Oh perfect. Just sent him a message. So I’ll just wire in a relay and then the top rock lights will work off the door switch. Awesome. Do people add another switch as well. I saw one in one of your previous posts.

 

If you need the added lamps to be ON without the door being open or unlocked, then you'd need an extra switch.

The added switch is from a TUNDRA. It's placed vertically so you can differentiate it from the Cargo Switch. It uses the same connector as the Cargo Switch too.
