After the Hexrack is installed, can you see the cut edges of the headliner around the spacers or does the spacer cover it? I want this rack but I’m OCD about stuff like this. I can’t find any pictures of this area, only a mention that MESO had redesigned the spacer at some point to better hide this area.

I thought it was totally clean…. There’s a wee tiny bit of exposure but you have to go poking around to see it.

Thanks for the pic. Definitely doesn’t look bad but I can’t help but wonder why he didn’t put a flange on the spacer that would cover that area.

Probably because it’s on the ceiling and in a place where no one will ever notice it. @MESO makes great stuff, get the hex rack you won’t regret it, the design and materials are superb

I can deal with that. I was afraid the spacer was a piece of round stock in the square headliner cutout. I have quite a few Meso products and have been pleased with everything.

oh no the spacer is square and fits over the headliners almost perfectly. Highly recommend a second set of hand to help install the hex rack.

I considered 3D printing something a wee bit shorter, and the flange would be a good idea. But once it was up I decided it was all good.
