@Sweet T We won’t even let them on the property sooner than the one hour early from apt. time. How WM can fine the shipper for being half hour early doesn’t make sense…. Unless each DC sets their own standards on this?

 

Maybe Wally World is special but the accepted time is 2 hours before detention is paid.

Walmart pretty much has their own set of rules for everything. And the rules generally benefit WM.

 

Maybe the 4 hours is specifically my DC? Last I heard, we were 3rd highest in volume output company wide. We are always very busy so maybe that’s why we have a longer unload time?

They are tying up others from checking in and possibly making them late. Have you ever sat in line trying to check in? The inside lane gets priority while you sit there watching the time tick away.

 

The is a DC that regularly takes 3+ hours to unload on Saturdays and those guys get detention pay.

 

Believe I'll make some 9mm up. Don't have near as many loaded as I thought. Or not looking in the right place for them

I bet that’s frustrating! Often times the drivers come in guns blazing (figuratively of course) the window clerks are burnt out and would be rude. That always bugged me. I always did everything I could to get drivers answers when things were taking longer than normal. So many bad situations can be diffused by a smile, empathy, and trying to give them as much information as you can as to why the delays. I really did enjoy working in that office. Idk what went on at the truck gate.

 

That would take awhile. I just have a single stage press. I have 150 pieces of brass primed and ready for powder and bullets so that's maybe a hour.

It's been an eon since I've been to a farm where we could shoot whatever the hell we wanted. Want to fill a microwave with tannerite and take bets on how much hang time the exploded bits will have... Fun times.
