I bought an overpriced helmet for the first time haha an Arai, and as much as I didn’t like the price, the comfort and surprisingly sound level was nice as I don’t need ear plugs :) Doesn’t help you today, but might later I guess ha.

I use Mack’s earplugs for pretty much everything though. Riding to working in the shop.

My Schuberth was perfect without earplugs on my 750GS with a good windscreen and is ok on the 250 Rally with a windscreen. On the 1250R with no screen at all if I go over about 60mph I still need earplugs with it. I've been considering one of these since I have mulitple helmets and only the Scuberth is setup with bluetooth headset.

Took the CB750 out for a end of season ride, kind of sad it doesn’t like cold weather more. Darn carbs.

pretty sure that record was broken by Masaru Abe who held a wheelie for like 13+ hours and 500+ kms...

and either way, neither of those dudes can hold a candle to this guy Grape from baltimore.... one wheel up on a closed course with no other stunts at the same time is lame

dancing the irish jig on a dirtbike in through and around the city is legendary :bikewheelie2:

call it what you will but these kids are extremely talented and when the publics view changes these guys will be mainstream celebrity athletes no different than any other FMX pro

It is an absolutely badass talent but my viewpoint that the people doing it on public roads in traffic are morons won't change.

i think the entire movement is not well understood by many outsiders

living in an inner city you dont really have a place to ride so anything other than riding outside on the street is just not realistic, these kids started off riding wheelies in the local parks and open fields, most of which are abandoned delinquent lots, however the cops would rush in and chase them out so riding on the street became a natural progression

if you dont let kids ride in an open field, and you chase them out onto the street, what else can you expect the other than inadvertently creating an entire movement of urban street riding

i understood why so many have a negative opinion on the people out there doing this type of riding, but only doing things on closed courses is not realistic either

either way the sport is growing and people are actively trying to legitimize this type of riding, these guys are not motocross racers nor are motocross racers wheelie boys, its completely its own faction of the motorcycle world, I personally honestly feel its in the best interest of the motorcycle community to embrace other riders and not outlaw them

With that logic let’s embrace street racing as well :luvya:

Don’t get me wrong I enjoy seeing 2-stroke bikes and 4wheelers doing wheelies in Charlotte. :bikewheelie2:

No doubt some of these guys have crazy mad skills. Issue becomes how many times they've blocked off streets and even highways so they can "play" and prevented normal traffic from flowing and likely prevented emergency vehicles from passing through. Sadly I live about an hour north of Baltimore and my area has seen several motorcycle dealerships broken into and dirt bikes stolen which have later shown up at some of these Baltimore area events like this.

the groups that shut down the street and do the side showing is an entirely different crew of people, thats like a bay area thing with the muscle cars and harleys mostly...

the kids riding the wheelies in and out of the city usually never stop moving, its when you stop that you can get nabbed

the theft thing is really terrible though, but bike theft has always and will always be a thing, these wheelie boys are usually very serious about fighting against bike theft

Baltimore is a mecca for this stuff though, its often said Baltimore is the city where this originated

The unlimited money long term plan is to get this airbox from cognito moto, do a 4-2-1 tri-y exhaust, then re-jet. With the current pod filters, I'm just happy it runs. These venturi carbs are notorious PITA's for getting the jetting right with pods, especially cheap ones like are one it (they came with the bike, promise).

Nice looking box for that nice looking bike.

That exhaust will look/work great! You plan to buy aftermarket or build your own?

I can’t say I miss carbs much haha. Until I have electric issues I can’t even come close to working on… then I’m sure I will again.

I think I spent more time after every winter getting my carbs happy than riding for the first month or two of riding season.
