TRD Superchargers now available for the '09s

    Just called TRD and was told the '09 SC is now available.
    Going to call and get a quote.
    Last quote I had was $4600 but I don't if the new model SC is more.
    The TRD rep didn't know about pricing.
    If it is,they can kiss my ass.:p

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    whats the difference? there is no difference in the engines from 05-08 to 09

    I thought the same thing.
    I called TRD two months ago when I bought my '09 and was told the mapping to the ECU is different on the '09s and the '05-'08 will not work..
    Emission issue,probably to pass CA tough emissions.
    I asked if horsepower output is different and was told no.

    do not have toyota reflash ur ecu, get that done through urd for maximum performance

    its all up to you.... if you want the most out of ur trd charger then goin the urd route will be the best bet.... alot of toyota dealerships have never even installed a supercharger on a tacoma before :eek:
