how are you liking the total chaos lowers? I need to weld in my markin kit but my lowers are shot too. Might as well do both at the same time. I was originally going for Dirt king but they are way backed up. Also saw the Camburg kit but with dirt and salt that looks like it would be way noisy at the mounts.

I went with the TC lowers for that reason... 4 less uniballs at the frame for reduced maintenance... only one lower ball joint replacement. So far so good. Winter is coming so the next months will tell me more

Just ordered a set. Plan to run them with DK LCAs.

Have to find a shop around NJ that can burn them in. Anyone have recommendations?

I have RCI full skids. So just the rear brace hits?

Just installed the kit this weekend with @Jkriegs.13 . Didn't remove the LCA, didn't melt the bushings.

No issues with the bison cams, either.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Was thinking of doing the poors man reinforcement(bead behind perfectly straight tabs) but did not wanted to remove the LCA due to time constraints. So I should be good to go?

Yes, but keep in mind the tabs are relatively thin. Bring your bead to the tab; don't try to hard weld the tab itself. Move around from one side of the truck to the other to minimize heat concentration/soak.

i never removed my LCA to weld them on. Just bounce around your heat and you should be fine. Its actually better to have them in so they dont warp.

Anyone have to trim the front driver LCA gusset to clear the diff brace?

Mine fit just enough out of the way but i could see there being some tolerance issues. Might have too.

I've beveled the edge on a handful of kits that I've done, just so it has some wiggle room

Just found this thread, I've had my Marlin HD braces on since spring time.

I didn't read every post, but haven't seen it mentioned - this kit made my truck drive better for sure. Front end felt a little tighter after install (nothing else was changed). Guessing the stock mounts must flex a little, adding this kit takes all the flex out.

Finally got around to installing these after the 5th alignment knockout. Drivers side tab was bent pretty badly but it’s all installed now.

These are probably overkill given most of the extra protection is under the skid plate but it feels good to have them on.

What’s everyone torquing the LCA bolts to with this kit?

Used a well known alignment shop instead of my standard shop, and on the 20 mile drive home my drivers side cam tab moved. Just highway driving, of course right before a 5k mile road trip
