I feel like the LED bulbs might be part of the issue I'm having with the light...

Yeah - that might work as well - in my case the wattage limiter was failing, no matter what load you put on it. 3 LED bulbs wouldn't light at all - I think 2 would work - it's been a few months. After bypassing, everything works regardless of bulb type.

Probably needs a good disassembly/cleaning. It will be time consuming and not guaranteed to fix if the motor is burnt. Hate to say it but it will be much easier to replace it.

Swapping ceiling fixtures is surprisingly easy, so long as you remember step 1: find the appropriate breaker and turn it off. :D

I'd replace it with a new one. I'm sure you could find a replacement at HD for $150-$300 and they're real easy to swap out.

I have a Casablanca Fan in my bedroom for over 2 decades. It has a fancy electronic wall controller that will slow down the fan one of the 6 setting every 2 hours. It's great in the summer when the window is open and the night gets cooler. I stopped working so I replaced the wall controller and it fixed the issue. Casablanca and Hunter are one in the same now. I've had good luck with both. My hunter fan sits outside on my patio from -10 to 105 degrees and still works like new.

If I were to get a new fan I would get a smart home one that works via wifi, bluetooth, zwave, or other method. You can control those with Alexa or Google Home.

While odd it maybe this’ll help? When the batteries in my ceiling fan remote I have to turn off the power at the breaker for at least 1 min. Then after power is tuned back on the fan will work. Something about the fan needed to relearn the remote. I’ll add that the remote is the only control I have of the fan. The light switches don’t control it.
