Grille surround / bezel - anyone run a contrasting color?

I typically pull my Pro grille for the winter (don't ask). I have my stock 2016 grille that I usually run. This winter I want to finally break down and join the world of Plasti-Dip users

I'm planning on doing the center section black to hide the cheese grater (like everyone else), but I'm not sure what to do with the outer bezel. I don't mind the chrome ring there, but part of me is wondering what a contrasting color would look on the bezel. I'm thinking either red or gunmetal, something that will work well with silver.

I have a feeling red would end up looking way cheesier than I'd want it to, but I figured I'd ask. I've been scrolling the Plasti-Dip thread for 20 minutes with no luck.

So, has anyone done this or have photos of a Tacoma with it? If so, post them up, please.

Since you seem to be using a winter beater grill, maybe put a bit more effort in the grater portion and use a bed liner product?

Use the dip for your color play with the frame, as it will peel off easily once you realize the chrome is the best look. :D
