Looks kind of like a BAE Hawk. Military aircraft I.D. isn’t a strong suit of mine. Particularly non-Canadian military aircraft.

He got it this summer. Right now the runway is shortened due to the extension construction and it’s not long enough for takeoff. Will be fun when I’m in the cub in the pattern and he’s behind me in that. Bad enough when it’s one of the P-51s.

Always something interesting at the airport. Got in some bumpy cub time and this was in the field house. The cool jet shoved to the side.

There’s some great mnt biking, hiking and fishing out of this strip.
It’s hard to show how remote some of these Arkansas strips are, but here is a little farther away. That’s a nice river to kayak or fish underneath me. Strip is at my 11 o’clock.

Flying over Blue Mesa, CO. only a couple hundred feet low on water. All the boat ramps don't even come close to the water now.

Please let me know the next time you are at VBT.

Flying the super cub here is really addicting. I have to make myself stay current in the 182s.

I'll need to make a point to go up there. I was considering flying up for the football game last weekend but my plane didn't get fixed in time.
I love Telluride. It's probably my favorite Colorado mountain town

Lake Meade is also extremely low level.
